Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will play an active role in developing our online presence, creating engaging content, and supporting the organization and promotion of our events, trade shows, and marketing initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who combines creativity, strong communication skills, and excellent organizational abilities , and who enjoys working on a variety of projects in a dynamic environment.
Your Responsibilities
Social Media & Community Management
- Develop and manage our social media presence across relevant platforms.
- Create engaging content including posts, stories, videos, visuals, and event-related communications.
- Plan and maintain a content calendar aligned with our marketing objectives.
- Write compelling copy adapted to different audiences and communication channels.
- Monitor social media trends and identify new opportunities for engagement.
- Track content performance and contribute to improving our social media strategy.
Event & Trade Show Management
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will also contribute to the planning, coordination, and promotion of our events and trade shows.
- Book and coordinate event-related services, including booths, hotels, transportation, and other logistics.
- Liaise with event organizers, suppliers, and external service providers.
- Coordinate shipping, booth setup, schedules, and other event logistics.
- Support the preparation and execution of events from start to finish.
- Ensure our brand identity and communication are consistently represented at events.
Event Content & Communication
- Create visual and digital materials for events, including social media posts, stories, banners, and other promotional assets.
- Develop content before, during, and after events to maximize visibility and engagement.
The Profile We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree (second year) in Marketing, Communications
- Eligible for OPCO funding .
- Previous experience in social media, content creation, marketing, events, or communications is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with an eye for visual content and brand consistency.
- Organized, proactive, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams and external partners.
Tools & Skills
You should be comfortable working with:
- Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Creative tools: Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Capcut, Premiere Pro
- Social media platforms and content management tools
- AI tools: ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, and other generative AI solutions
- Basic knowledge of analytics and social media performance metrics is a plus.
