Frontend Engineer Intern

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer Intern to support the technical execution of our commercial advisory projects. In this role, you will help build and refine the interfaces our clients and partners use to interpret complex market data. Our partner is a Paris based organization involved in large scale capital deployment, and much of your initial work will focus on creating clear, functional tools that support this specific engagement. This is a fully remote position that requires a disciplined approach to technical tasks and a willingness to understand the commercial context behind the code.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain web interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks to support investment decision models.
• Translate wireframes and functional requirements into clean, manageable code that prioritizes user clarity.
• Collaborate with our senior advisors to ensure that data visualizations accurately reflect the ground reality of the markets we analyze.
• Identify and resolve frontend bugs or performance issues to ensure a reliable experience for high level stakeholders.
• Assist in the creation of internal tools that help our team organize and present research on sovereign entities and counterparties.
• Participate in technical reviews to maintain high standards for code quality and documentation.
• Work closely with the broader team to ensure technical tools align with the specific commercial judgment we provide to clients.

What you bring

• Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with some exposure to libraries like React, Vue, or similar frameworks.
• A strong sense of logic and the ability to break down complex technical problems into smaller, manageable steps.
• High attention to detail, specifically regarding the accuracy of data presentation and the consistency of visual elements.
• Commercial curiosity and an interest in learning how technical products support high stakes investment decisions.
• Effective written communication skills for explaining technical progress and roadblocks in a remote environment.
