We are looking for a Music Merchandising & Editorial Apprentice to join Qobuz’s Southern Europe & Latin America team.
Working under the direct supervision of the Music Merchandiser for Spain & Spanish-speaking Latin America , you will contribute to the editorial programming and merchandising strategy for these territories while supporting operational editorial activities across Southern Europe, particularly for Portugal, Brazil and Italy.
Throughout the apprenticeship, you will progressively develop the skills required to understand how editorial strategy is designed, executed, measured and continuously optimized within an international music streaming platform. You will collaborate daily with internal teams, labels, distributors and external partners, gaining hands-on experience in both the creative and business aspects of music merchandising.
This role is ideal for someone who combines a genuine passion for music with outstanding organizational skills, an analytical mindset and an interest in understanding how editorial decisions contribute to artist discovery, audience engagement and business objectives.

- Music merchandising & playlist management
- Support the weekly editorial selection of new releases (albums and tracks)
- Assist in the creation, duplication, scheduling, updating and maintenance of editorial playlists across several territories using internal tools
- Coordinate promotional assets (visuals, banners) for editorial campaigns
- Ensure editorial consistency and quality across playlists and featured content

- Editorial content & operations
- Assist with editorial writing, including album reviews, artist biographies, interviews, features and news articles
- Format, integrate and publish editorial content in the CMS while sourcing visuals and editorial assets
- Support editorial planning for key releases and campaigns to ensure the smooth execution of weekly editorial operations
- Help manage editorial workflows and ensure projects are delivered on time across multiple territories

- Label, distributor & partnership support
- Centralize editorial priorities received from labels and distributors
- Assist in the daily follow-up of label relationships, including emails, meetings and release tracking
- Support the preparation and execution of promotional campaigns and editorial activations
- Contribute to collaborations with artists, labels, distributors and media partners across Spain and Latin America
- Monitor key releases and identify editorial opportunities across Spain and Latin America
- Develop knowledge of local music ecosystems, including artists, genres, labels and distributors
- Contribute editorial ideas based on musical expertise and audience insights
- Support the monitoring of playlist and campaign performance to help inform future programming

- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
- Spanish (minimum B2 level) is highly recommended
- Portuguese is a strong plus
