Data Consultant

Role Description This on-site Data Consultant internship role is based in Paris. The intern will help analyze and structure data from multiple sources, contribute to data pipelines, and support the creation of robust data models for the marketplace index. Day-to-day tasks include cleaning and validating data, assisting in ETL processes, collaborating with the product and engineering teams to improve data quality, and preparing analytical reports and dashboards. The role also involves exploring datasets to identify trends, supporting data-driven product decisions, and documenting data structures and processes.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Foundational knowledge in Data Science and Data Analytics, including basic statistical concepts.
• Experience or coursework related to Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and data integration.
• Understanding of Data Modeling principles and database structures.
• Familiarity with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data work (e.g., Python or R).
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Paris and communicate clearly in English; French proficiency is a plus.
